College students for Truthful Admissions Information Supreme Court docket Temporary

College students for Truthful Admissions filed a short Monday with the U.S. Supreme Court docket formally asking it to reverse selections that say the affirmative motion insurance policies of Harvard College and the College of North Carolina at Chapel Hill are constitutional. And as anticipated, SFFA requested the court docket to reverse its resolution in Grutter v. Bollinger, which in 2003 declared that the College of Michigan regulation college’s affirmative motion plan was authorized.

Edward Blum, president of the group, mentioned, “The traditional religion that gave delivery to our nation’s civil rights legal guidelines is the precept that a person’s race shouldn’t be used to assist or hurt them of their life’s endeavors.
